Highlights from InfoSol’s Annual Customer Conference, IBIS 2025

Last month, we were lucky enough to attend IBIS 2025. The conference brought together our growing community of creators and developers along with SAP Business Objects users and Business Intelligence professionals. And what an experience it was! Set against the stunning backdrop of Dove Mountain in Arizona – IBIS 2025 was a powerful blend of luxurious surroundings, passionate people, and practical insights.

In this post, we’ll take you through the highlights of the event, from the electric atmosphere among the business objects community to the deep-dive sessions we hosted for Squirrel365 users.

A Conference to Remember

Luxury, Learning, and Landscape

The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain delivered a truly exceptional setting. Nestled among the rugged desert mountains, the location offered a tranquil yet inspiring atmosphere that helped set the tone for a few days of focused learning and connection. Attendees enjoyed everything from morning hikes to five-star meals. All wrapped in that signature Ritz-Carlton experience.

A Passionate Community, United by Curiosity

But the real magic happened in the meeting rooms, breakout sessions, and informal lounges where our business objects community came together. It was clear from the outset that this wasn’t just another tech conference. It was a gathering of people who genuinely care about what they’re building. Whether they were long-time platform power users or just getting started, the enthusiasm was undeniable.

Conversations were buzzing. Ideas flowed freely. And most importantly, there was a shared commitment to learning from one another.

Access to the Experts

Throughout the event, attendees had direct access to product teams, technical leads, and experienced solution architects. Rather than being tucked away behind velvet ropes, our experts were right there in the mix — answering questions, offering feedback, and diving into real-world implementation challenges. That openness created a dynamic, collaborative atmosphere where everyone walked away with new tools, fresh thinking, and valuable connections.

Spotlight on Squirrel365 Sessions

We were especially proud to host a series of sessions dedicated to Squirrel365, giving attendees a closer look at what’s new, what’s possible, and what’s next with our platform.

What’s New in Squirrel?

This session kicked things off with a review of everything we delivered over the past year — from performance improvements and design enhancements to new connectors and platform features. But perhaps the most exciting part was the sneak peek into what’s coming next. Without giving too much away, let’s just say there are some game-changing features on the horizon that will make building powerful business apps with Squirrel365 even faster and more flexible.

Taking Your Apps to the Next Level

In this hands-on session, we introduced new bolt-ons that extend Squirrel365’s core functionality. These modular enhancements allow users to plug into backend services like Supabase, making it easier than ever to connect, store, and retrieve data in real time. The session sparked plenty of questions and ideas, with attendees eager to explore how these integrations could bring more intelligence and interactivity to their applications.

Using Squirrel to Build Mobile Apps

One of the most popular sessions of the conference was our in-depth look at using Squirrel365’s new layout containers to build responsive, mobile-first interfaces. Through a live demo, we showed just how simple it is to create a familiar mobile app UI, all within the same design environment our users already know and love. Showcasing the new dynamic resizing capabilities, this session opened up new possibilities for taking apps beyond the desktop and into the hands of users on the go. Getting creative at the Squirrel Hackathon

At the conference, we invited attendees to roll up their sleeves and dive into Squirrel365 during our hackathon session. With a bit of guidance (and plenty of encouragement), they jumped right in—building impressive, insightful what-if scenario apps that shed light on the growing global water shortage. It was amazing to see their creativity come to life so quickly!

Listening and learning in the Customer Influence Session

There’s nothing more valuable than hearing directly from our customers. Our Customer Influence Session gave us the perfect chance to understand their challenges, goals, and feature wish lists for Squirrel365. We shared our roadmap, and together, we explored which features would make the biggest impact. Their feedback is helping shape the future of Squirrel365—and we’re excited to keep building it together.

Looking Ahead

As the sun set over Dove Mountain and the final sessions wrapped up, there was a shared sense of momentum. The connections made, ideas sparked, and knowledge exchanged will continue to shape the projects, products, and platforms our community is building.

To everyone who joined us at IBIS 2025: thank you for bringing your energy, your questions, and your passion. Whether you came to explore Squirrel365, dive deeper into business objects, or just soak up the Arizona sun, I’m certain that every attendee learned something and we are grateful, as ever, to have shared the experience with you.

We’re already thinking about next year. Until then, keep building — and keep pushing boundaries.
